The computer chip in your brain

Well, it’s not really a chip but it may as well be because there’s a small area on the left side of your brain–about the size of a dime–that retains the negative memories that can really set you off in the present time. When there’s a particular trigger you undergo such as being lied to, you go right back to your memory file to the times you’ve been lied to and pull up those same emotions such as betrayal, hurt and anger. And, most likely you’ll act out in the same way you did when it first happened. What’s worse is that you can’t delete the file unless you know how to work with stuck memories and consciously reprogram them.
