Are you constantly having sabotaging thoughts? How many negative thoughts do you have each day? If you’re like me, many. They tend to pop up unexpectedly. So, what can you do about it?
Next time you experience a negative thought about yourself or a particular situation, simply say aloud or to yourself, “What possible benefit is there for me in thinking about this?” Then, go immediately into a state of gratitude – even if it just means being thankful for getting a seat on the bus or train, or finding a parking space. Get off the negative and replace it with a positive thought. It’s as refreshing as a cool summer breeze and will inevitably help you develop an inner calm which is a real gift.
