In my July 10th blog, I spoke o f a vibrational set point and how we are all aware of what we don’t want, but very few of us are aware of what we do want. As our thoughts equal our point of attraction, we can’t help but energetically bring to ourselves that which we put our attention on.
I’ve quoted Dr. Robert Anthony before. He’s a well-respected leader in the human potential field as well as a hypnotist and author. He states something very interesting. When he’s asked the thousands of people he’s worked with what they want, only 10% could tell him. On the other hand, when he asks people what they don’t want, 100% could tell him. Common responses would be, “I don’t want to be broke, I don’t want to be sick, I don’t want to be alone, I don’t want to be with this person, I don’t want to work for someone else.” And, the list goes on.
Dr. Anthony suggests using this technique to find out what you do want in order to use the laws of attraction beneficially. Simply write a list of all the things you don’t want and that is pretty easy to do. Next, all you have to do is reverse the list and you’ll know exactly what you want. That’s your launching pad for manifestation because as you know, what you put your laser-like focus on, you’ll energetically attract it to yourself. Your goal list is where you start out with a sense of certainty. Work on it daily. Once again, it just takes a bit of discipline but unfortunately, and ironically, most of us won’t take the time to make our lives so much easier and more fruitful.
