I think there is a misconception that you get what you want in life by the actions you take — that the “doing” makes things happen. That idea is not entirely true. I’m suggesting that most people’s actions are trying to compensate for inappropriate creating. Most of us have been programmed to think and behave as if in order to get what we want, we have to work hard for it. This is a core belief among the majority. In truth, anytime we struggle, we mis-create.
According to Dr. Robert Anthony, author of the audio series, The Art of Deliberate Creation, “it’s not that our actions are unimportant or unnecessary. The point is that most actions people take aren’t in harmony with their real desires. Most people act out of doubt, fear, and worry. They use action to compensate for inappropriate creating.”
It seems we are creating in reverse, and certainly this is frustrating. We are always thinking of creating something for our future instead of creating in the moment. When we live out of the moment and look toward the future for happiness, we are out of synch. Our present moment is our future! The key is to focus on what you desire until you feel the positive energy begin to move through you, and then take action. Don’t take action until you have visualized the desire and made it real enough to feel the emotion of having it.
