Living our daily lives is a tough business, particularly when we are stressed out by personal issues, past traumas, and are constantly bombarded by negative events through the media. This creates even more negative thought forms. Mark Waldman, one of the world’s leading experts on communication, spirituality, and the brain, and author of 12 books says, “The brain has a preference to imbed negative memories because the organism needs to respond to future threats faster than our conscious minds can respond.” Thought is the most powerful force in the universe, and our thoughts are the controlling factor in how we manifest.
Anytime we feel pain, fear or anxiety, we are attracting what we don’t want rather than what we do want. Because thoughts are intangible, we don’t grasp the monumental importance of them in creating our personal realities. We seem to live in two worlds, the seen and the unseen. Events which take place in the course of your day are the seen world. Whereas, that is not where they originate from. This needs to be understood. We are creating our reality through our thoughts coming from a variety of places and literally holding us hostage. I’ll use the iceberg as a metaphor. The events in our day are the tip while the thoughts coming from experiences and negative programming we undergo since childhood are the hidden danger.
None of us has escaped the negative programming. Remember, they drive our thoughts. We think that sometime in the future things will get better. We’re creating in reverse and without joy. We are living out of the moment, not understanding that the present moment is our future in which we can deliberately create our hearts desire.
